SUPER DRY desiccants are made from highly hygroscopic Calcium Chloride and starch making it the most effective and superior solution for preventing mold and moisture damage inside ocean shipping containers where temperature and humidity will fluctuate to extreme levels.

In addition to its high absorption capacity and continuous absorption for up to 3 months, Super Dry Calcium Chloride desiccants are also effective in wide temperature ranges between 0°C and 90°C. Other desiccant products such as Silica gel and Clay are only effective within 15°C to 30°C. Furthermore, Superdry formula turns moisture into a gel, captured and contained inside a packet, isolated and leakage free, eliminating the release of moisture. In comparison, other types of desiccants have a higher risk of releasing moisture when it they reaches their maximum adsorption.
